Cheongdo County, Administrative county in North Gyeongsang, South Korea
The county covers 696 square kilometers of hills and valleys across North Gyeongsang Province, sustaining agricultural production of fruits and vegetables.
The region originated as Ieso-guk during the Samhan period before joining Silla and receiving its current designation as Cheongdo in 940.
The Cheongdo Bullfighting Festival maintains local traditions by bringing together communities and international visitors for annual animal competitions.
The Gyeongbu railway line and Daegu-Busan Expressway provide direct transportation links from major cities to the county seat in Hwayang-eup.
The county administration manages 212 ri and 668 natural villages, known as jayeon burak, distributed across two eup and seven myeon subdivisions.
