Astana Circus

The Astana Circus is a modern circus building in Kazakhstan's capital city featuring a design that resembles a flying saucer. The central arena spans 13 meters in diameter and seats up to 2,000 spectators, with an attached hotel complex containing 113 rooms for visiting performers.

The venue opened in late 2005 and became a major entertainment center in the country's capital. Since its inauguration, it has hosted performances from international artists and hosted various competitions.

The entrance displays the Alley of Fairy Tales with figures from Kazakh folklore such as Aldar Kose and Yer Tostik. These statues blend traditional stories with a modern entertainment space.

The building is centrally located in Astana with good accessibility, ample parking, and wide entrances accommodating various mobility needs. Check the performance schedule in advance since different shows rotate regularly throughout the year.

The facility houses specialized animal enclosures and accommodations allowing its more than 320 staff members to perform complex acrobatic, gymnastics, illusion, and animal acts. This comprehensive infrastructure serves as a base for touring productions across Asia.
