Barys Arena

Barys Arena is an indoor sports facility in Astana with a distinctive circular metal roof structure and a glass facade that shifts color depending on weather conditions. Inside, it accommodates around 12,000 regular spectators and 800 VIP seats, with dining areas positioned to overlook the ice.

Construction began in 2012 after league officials determined the previous venue did not meet modern standards for hosting professional teams. The new facility was built to establish the city as a contemporary sports center.

The venue serves as the home for Barys Astana ice hockey team and draws fans who experience the fast-paced sport that matters deeply to the city. It represents a connection point where people gather to watch skilled athletes compete at the highest level.

The venue is well organized with dining options throughout the building where visitors can eat or drink while watching events. Arriving early gives you time to explore the facilities and find comfortable seating.
