Moroccan Jewish Museum

The museum occupies a renovated garden villa covering 700 square meters with three exhibition halls displaying artifacts, photographs, and religious objects.

Founded in 1997, this institution stands in a building from 1948 that initially served as an orphanage for 160 Jewish children.

The exhibits include traditional clothing, ritual items, Torah scrolls, and a reconstructed synagogue from Larache that illustrate Jewish life in Morocco.

Located near Gare de l'Oasis tram stop, the museum opens Monday through Thursday from 10:00 to 17:00, Friday until 15:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00.

This institution represents the only Jewish museum in the Arab world, preserving the heritage of what was once the largest Jewish community in Muslim territories.
