Khenifra National Park

Khenifra National Park spans 842 square kilometers across the Middle Atlas Mountains, featuring dense cedar forests, rocky cliffs, and two large lakes. The terrain includes diverse elevations and natural formations that create varied landscapes throughout the protected area.

The park was established in 2008 as a major conservation effort for Morocco's natural heritage. Its creation protected critical habitats for native animal and plant species found in the region.
