The Kasbah of Tifoultoute rises from adobe walls with multiple towers and passages, standing on elevated ground near Ouarzazate in southern Morocco.
The fortress belonged to Thami El Glaoui, who held the position of Pasha of Marrakech from 1912 to 1956, during the French protectorate period.
The fortress displays traditional Berber construction methods, with thick earthen walls and strategic defensive positions that reflect regional architectural practices.
Visitors can reach the kasbah by taking an 8-kilometer drive west from Ouarzazate, with local guides available at the entrance for detailed tours.
The structure has appeared in numerous international film productions, with its towers offering views across the Atlas Mountains and surrounding oases.
