Blue Hole

Blue Hole is a circular opening in limestone cliffs near San Lawrenz that descends about 35 meters into the water. An underwater tunnel beneath the rock connects this pool directly to the Mediterranean Sea.

The formation developed through thousands of years of erosion by seawater and wind in the limestone coast. These natural forces carved a vertical shaft and created the underwater passages we see today.
