The Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary features two symmetric bell towers and a central dome rising above the Mellieħa skyline.
Local peasants transported limestone blocks from l-Aħrax tal-Mellieħa quarry between 1881 and 1898 to construct this religious edifice for their growing community.
The interior displays paintings by notable Maltese artists Giuseppe Calì and Lazzaro Pisani, representing religious themes through local artistic expression.
The church holds daily masses at 06:30 and 07:30, with additional services on weekends and extended hours from 05:30 to 18:30 on Sundays.
Five bells from Milan, each dedicated to different saints, were installed between 1920 and 1940 during the completion of the bell towers.
