The Shang Grand Tower

The Shang Grand Tower is a residential skyscraper in Makati comprising 46 floors arranged in a distinctive Z-shaped layout that enhances sightlines throughout the building. The structure houses approximately 254 individual units served by seven elevators and two separate grand lobbies for convenient access.

Construction began in 2003 as the Kuok Group's first self-funded residential condominium project in the Philippines. The completion of this tower marked a significant expansion into the country's residential real estate market.

The building incorporates post-modernist and art deco architectural elements, reflecting the fusion of international design with local Philippine construction methods.

Access to the residential complex is controlled through two separate entrance areas with security systems for resident safety. The seven elevators distribute traffic throughout the building efficiently to handle daily movement between floors.

The building was constructed with remarkable speed, with each floor completed on average in about one week. This rapid construction pace was achieved through careful planning and well-coordinated work processes.
