Newport World Resorts is an integrated complex in Newport City featuring four hotels, a casino, a shopping mall, theaters, and numerous restaurants. The buildings are connected by walkways and form a self-contained area with air-conditioned interiors and open outdoor sections.
The site opened in August 2009 on former military grounds after years of planning and construction. Additional hotels and facilities have been added over time, gradually expanding the original footprint.
The theater hosts Filipino shows and international performances that visitors can experience throughout the year. Local and foreign artists regularly appear on the stages throughout the complex, drawing a broad audience from across the city.
The complex sits directly across from Terminal 3 of the international airport and is reachable via covered walkways. Visitors will find directional signs throughout the interior guiding them to different sections of the grounds.
The Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Hotel is the largest hotel ballroom of its kind in the country and can accommodate several thousand guests. Large events and social gatherings use this space for receptions and celebrations.
