Pyrzowice

Pyrzowice is a village in Silesian Voivodeship located roughly 25 kilometers north of Katowice in southern Poland. The settlement sits at an elevation of around 300 meters and falls administratively within the Gmina Ożarowice district.

The village was first documented in 1340 under the rule of the Duchy of Siewierz. It was originally owned by Norbertine nuns from Kraków.

The settlement maintains farming traditions and seasonal gatherings rooted in Silesian heritage. These customs shape how the community marks the year and connects with the land.
