Park Milenijny w Bydgoszczy, Urban park in Fordon district, Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Park Milenijny is an urban green space in the Fordon district covering about 15 hectares along the Vistula River. The area includes a reservoir, mature forest sections with established trees, and well-maintained walking paths throughout.
The reservoir that defines the park first appeared on maps in 1930, used by locals for summer recreation. Modern amenities and bridges were added much later in the 2000s.
Developed between 2009 and 2014, the park now features illuminated bridges and play areas where residents commonly gather throughout the year.
The park sits next to Fordońska Street with multiple entry points connected to pedestrian paths and public transport stops. Open design makes navigation straightforward, and street proximity helps with getting there.
Four ancient poplar trees standing in the forest area between the reservoir and the Vistula have been designated as natural monuments. This protected status highlights their ecological importance to the landscape.
