Praia da Galé

Praia da Galé is a wide sandy beach stretching between Albufeira and Armação de Pêra along a long shoreline with two distinct sections. The eastern area features impressive rock formations and ancient limestone cliffs, while the western section offers more open sandy spaces.

This beach formed through the erosion of limestone layers that shaped the present-day shoreline over thousands of years. The rock formations contain traces from prehistoric times and reveal the geological history of the region.
