Oxygen Park, Public park in Education City, Qatar
Oxygen Park is a public green space covering 130,000 square meters with landscaped gardens, walking paths, and sports fields across two main locations. The grounds feature recreational areas interspersed with open lawns and different zones for various activities.
The park was established in 2019 by Qatar Foundation as part of a plan to create environmental spaces throughout the area. This initiative aimed to provide communities with green areas dedicated to health and learning.
The design reflects Qatar's natural landscape through shapes resembling wind-shaped rocks and desert formations found across the grounds. Visitors experience this connection to the local environment throughout their walk.
The park is easily accessible via Qatar National Library train station and open daily. Specific areas are designated for women on Monday evenings.
The park features specifically selected trees chosen for their high oxygen production levels. This selection creates a concentrated forest environment within the urban area.
