Tineretului Park

Tineretului Park is a large green space in southern Bucharest with walking paths, play areas, and a big lake at its center. The lake is surrounded by trees and grass where visitors can move around and explore different sections.

The park was created in 1965 and developed over the following years as Bucharest expanded its green spaces. It came from a plan to improve recreation for the city's growing population.

The park's name honors Romanian youth organizations and reflects how the city planned recreational spaces for residents. You can see families gathering here to spend time together across the different zones.

Two metro stations provide direct access to the park, making arrival straightforward. The space is easy to explore on foot because the paths are clearly laid out and connect different areas.

One section of the park contains an amusement area with rides and a small train for children. This zone often surprises visitors who expect only a traditional park.
