The statue represents national unity through its portrayal of Cuza in his officer uniform and princely mantle, symbolizing the formation of modern Romania.
Located in the central Union Square of Iasi, the monument has multiple transportation connections and remains accessible throughout the day for visitors.
Two identical bronze versions of this statue exist in Romania: one in Iasi and another in Craiova, both cast from the same original mold.
