Constantin Brâncuși memorial museum

The Constantin Brâncuși memorial museum is a historic monument in Hobița housed in the childhood home of the renowned sculptor. The rooms contain personal belongings, photographs, and documents that reveal his early years and the conditions of his upbringing.

The memorial house opened in 1971 to preserve the heritage of Romania's influential sculptor Brâncuși. Since then it has served as a branch of the Gorj County Museum, documenting the origins of one of the 20th century's major artists.
