The Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church presents a Romanesque architectural design with decorative stone elements and large arched windows on its main facade.
Built between 1838 and 1842, the church received financial support from Franz Joseph of Austria, who donated 1000 florins for its construction.
The church holds regular services in Hungarian on the last Sunday of each month, serving the local Hungarian-speaking Catholic congregation since January 2019.
Located at Ana Ipătescu Street 2A in Bacău, the church maintains an administrative office for parish matters and provides daily mass services.
The religious structure serves over 7,800 believers with approximately 80 baptisms and 24 marriages performed annually within its congregation.
