Novi dvor

Novi dvor is a two-story palace with a prominent facade, lateral tower projection, and a dome positioned above a central garden in Belgrade. The structure displays academic art style features including symmetrical composition and decorative elements throughout its design.

Construction took place from 1911 to 1922, with the building initially serving as residence for Crown Prince Alexander I. Following this period, the structure transitioned to different uses that reflected changing political circumstances.

The building reflects early 20th century Serbian design through Renaissance and Baroque details in its ornamental features and overall composition. Visitors can observe how these historical styles blend together in the way the facade is arranged and decorated.

The building sits directly across from the Old Palace in Andrićev Venac Square and is easily accessible from various parts of the city. The grounds with its garden provide a quiet area within the urban center.

Architect Stojan Titelbah designed the palace complex as part of a larger ensemble with careful coordination of the surrounding structures. This deliberate integration created a unified architectural complex connecting several neighboring buildings.
