Kirillov's house

The wooden residential structure displays intricate metal and wood decorations across its exterior, including carved ornaments and painted details in multiple colors.

Between 1954 and 1967, blacksmith Sergey Kirillov transformed an old property into this decorated house after taking over his father's profession during World War II.

The decorative elements merge traditional Russian architectural features with influences from Soviet-era imagery, including sculptures of young Pioneers and inscribed messages about peace.

Located at coordinates 57.396167, 60.4595 in Sverdlovsk region, the house received recognition as a cultural heritage site and winner of wooden architecture competition.

Volunteers from Yekaterinburg contributed to the restoration of the house decorations in 2012, working to maintain the craftsmanship created over thirty-four years.
