Искорское городище, Archaeological shrine in Iskor, Russia
The archaeological site occupies a large territory near Iskor village, containing ancient settlement remains and religious artifacts from different historical periods.
Archaeological excavations conducted between 2001 and 2008 revealed that the site served as an unfortified religious sanctuary rather than a fortified settlement.
Researchers discovered numerous ancient objects during excavations, including an ornate battleax, a plowshare, a gold-inlaid key, silver rings, knives, and spears.
The site stands 5 kilometers northeast of Iskor village in the Cherdynsky district of Perm Krai, accessible through marked paths and regional roads.
The archaeological complex forms part of a regional nature monument together with the natural landmark called Narrow Street in the Small Iskor area.
