The Saint Petersburg Chamber Opera occupies the former von Derviz mansion on Galernaya Street, featuring ornate architectural elements from the nineteenth century.
Founded in 1987 by director Yuri Alexandrov, the opera company received its permanent residence in 1998 within a mansion that dates back to 1885.
The opera presents classical productions and contemporary works while maintaining a dedicated series called Operetta in the Opera House throughout its seasons.
The theater's box office operates daily from 12:00 to 19:00 with a one-hour break at 15:00, offering tickets for regular performances and guided tours.
Besides operatic performances, the venue offers guided tours exploring the von Derviz family history and the mansion's connection to Saint Petersburg's musical past.
