Skver Imeni Reshetnikova, Public park in central Perm, Russia
Skver Imeni Reshetnikova is a public park in central Perm located at the intersection of Monastyrskaya Street and Sibirskaya Street. It contains walking paths, green spaces, and areas designed for rest and recreation throughout the day.
The site started as a garden in the 1800s, then underwent changes through the 1920s when it received its current name. A monument honoring Civil War Heroes was added in 1985 to mark local historical events.
Local people use this space as a quiet retreat in the city center, where they take breaks from nearby shops and offices. The open areas and benches shape how the neighborhood feels on a daily basis.
The park is open year-round without entrance fees and has exercise equipment, children's play areas, and lit paths. Visitors can walk comfortably in any season since the pathways are well-maintained and clearly marked.
In 2018, a golden-colored water column monument was installed to represent Perm's first water supply system. The monument sits amid vintage-style cobblestones and manhole covers that recall the city's early infrastructure.
