II Mehmed Geray dürbesi, Royal mausoleum in Bakhchysarai, Crimea.

The Mehmed Geray mausoleum is an octagonal burial structure with stone walls and traditional Islamic architectural features decorated with geometric patterns. The surfaces display carefully crafted ornaments in a style typical of the region.

The mausoleum was built during the Crimean Khanate period and holds the remains of Mehmed Giray, who ruled the region in the early 16th century. That era marked a time of cultural and political development for the independent khanate.

The mausoleum shows how Crimean Tatar traditions and Islamic burial practices came together in regional building styles of that period. Local craftsmen used construction techniques that were characteristic of the khanate's architecture.

The burial site sits in the historic old town of Bakhchysarai and is easily reached through the main pathways of the area. Visitors should know the neighborhood is walkable and access is generally unrestricted.

The structure appears in both international heritage registers and is recognized as a cultural monument by both Ukraine and Russia. This dual status reflects the complex history and shared responsibility for preservation.
