Severo-Kavkazsk Philharmonic Society V. I. Safonov is a concert organization with ten performance halls spread across four cities, with its main Grand Hall located in Kislovodsk seating 650 people. The Grand Hall features red velvet seating, contemporary lighting technology, and refreshed parquet flooring while keeping its original architectural character.

The building was constructed in 1895 as the Kursal of Kislovodsk, designed by architect Valerian Gusev at a significant expense. The structure has endured through different periods and underwent modernization while remaining a central cultural institution for the city.
