Built in 1895 as the Kursal of Kislovodsk, the building was designed by architect Valerian Gusev and constructed for nearly a million imperial rubles.
The venue presents regular symphony orchestra performances, children's musical programs, and maintains a museum showcasing instruments from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Grand Hall contains red velvet seating, modern lighting systems, and updated parquet flooring while maintaining its original architectural elements.
The building's front facade includes two towers with white domes, and during its early years featured a restaurant where musicians performed behind illuminated glass.
