Paradise Garden, Perm, Public park in Motovilikha district, Perm, Russia
Paradise Garden is a public park in the Motovilikha district featuring a white rotunda building with eight columns at its center. The grounds contain walking paths that wind through planted areas and open spaces where people can sit and observe the surroundings.
The park began in 1865 on the grounds of a former copper processing works, and was known by different names including Angel Garden and Old Factory Garden. It later developed into its current form as a recreational space for the surrounding district.
The garden serves as a quiet gathering spot where residents spend time together, and its name has become part of local identity over generations. People come here to escape the city rhythm and enjoy simple moments with family and friends.
The park can be accessed from several points and has well-maintained pathways throughout the grounds. In warmer months the vegetation provides shade, while in winter the structure of the space becomes more visible.
At the entrance stands a monument to a black Newfoundland dog, honoring a local dog breeder. The monument was donated by a resident as a memorial to her late husband.
