Al Rajhi Tower, Commercial skyscraper in al-Muruj, Saudi Arabia
Al Rajhi Tower is a 205-meter-tall commercial skyscraper with 94 floors and a sail-shaped profile located in al-Muruj, Riyadh. The structure combines office space with specialized wind control systems designed to support structural stability throughout the building.
Construction began in 2006 under the supervision of Hill International and Samsung C&T Corporation. The project reached completion in 2017, marking a significant moment in Riyadh's urban development.
The tower bears the name of the Al Rajhi family, a major business clan whose enterprises shape the commercial identity of Riyadh. Today the building functions as part of the city's business district, hosting offices and companies that operate within its walls.
The tower features advanced elevator systems by Schindler that move people efficiently through all 94 floors. Access may be limited since the building primarily serves corporate and business operations.
The tower includes an observation area and a helipad at its peak. These features parallel those found in Dubai's Burj Al Arab, adding both practical function and symbolic prominence to the structure.
