Opera Ljubljana

Opera Ljubljana is a theatre building featuring Ionic columns and decorative stone elements such as statues of Tragedy and Comedy set into the facade. The interior contains multiple performance spaces with modern stage equipment designed to host different types of productions.

The building was constructed in the late 1800s by Czech architects using a neo-Renaissance design. Originally it hosted performances in both Slovenian and German, reflecting the cultural circumstances of that historical period.
