Pont de Foundiougne

The Pont de Foundiougne extends 1,290 meters across the Saloum River, connecting the departments of Foundiougne and Fatick through a prestressed concrete structure.

The bridge construction marked a milestone in Senegal's infrastructure development during the early 2000s, opening to traffic in 2003 to address regional transportation needs.
