Rezan Has Museum, Archaeological museum in Cibali, Turkey
The Rezan Has Museum is an archaeological institution displaying thousands of artifacts that span roughly 9000 years of history in this region. The building itself preserves a Byzantine water cistern and the remains of an Ottoman bath structure within its walls.
This institution opened in 2007 within a former tobacco factory, repurposing the building's existing historic structures. The collections document successive periods from the Neolithic era through the 20th century in this geographic area.
The galleries display everyday objects like pottery, tools, and ornaments that reveal how people lived and worked across thousands of years. These collections show the skills and customs that shaped daily life in different ancient societies that once inhabited this region.

Inside the building stands an 11th-century Byzantine cistern featuring 48 arches and 15 columns built from salvaged materials. This underground structure reveals how people engineered water storage systems and constructed buildings by repurposing materials from earlier times.
