Zhubei City

Zhubei City extends across 46.83 square kilometers of land between the Fongshan and Touqian Rivers, where they flow into the Taiwan Strait.

The area transformed from Angmo Field into Chikuhoku Village in 1941 during Japanese rule, later becoming a township in 1950 and gaining city status in 1988.

The transformation from rice farming to semiconductor industries reflects in the local customs, where traditional markets operate alongside modern technology centers.

The Hsinchu High-Speed Rail station and Zhubei Railway Station create transportation networks connecting residents to major cities across Taiwan.

The city houses 30 distinct villages while maintaining direct access to the Hsinchu Science Park, a primary center for semiconductor manufacturing in Taiwan.
