Zhongshan Soccer Stadium, Former football stadium in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan

Zhongshan Soccer Stadium is a former football stadium in the Zhongshan District of Taipei, Taiwan, originally built to hold up to 20,000 spectators and approved by FIFA for international matches. Since its closure in 2008, the site has been absorbed into Taipei Expo Park, now featuring open green areas and community spaces.

The site held a sports ground as early as 1923 during Japanese colonial rule, before a modern stadium was built there in 1989. It closed in 2008 to make way for Taipei Expo Park, though it hosted 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches shortly before shutting down.

The site is now part of Taipei Expo Park, where art shows, weekend markets, and community events take place regularly. A community garden tended by local volunteers covers much of the area where the playing field once stood.

The site is in the Zhongshan District and is a short walk from Yuanshan Metro Station. The surrounding area has cafes and restaurants, and nearby attractions like the Taipei Fine Arts Museum make it easy to plan a longer outing around the park.

The stadium was one of Taipei's largest concert venues, hosting acts like Michael Jackson, who performed there twice, as well as Bon Jovi and Beyoncé. For concerts, the venue held roughly twice the crowd it did for football matches, since fans could fill the entire inner field.
