Taipei Story House, Historic mansion in Zhongshan District, Taiwan.
The Taipei Story House features a Tudor architectural design with brick walls on the ground floor and wooden beams on the upper level, including stained glass decorations.
Built in 1913 as a guest house during Japanese rule, the mansion served local dignitaries and international visitors before becoming a municipal historic site.
The interior of the building contains two fireplaces with Art Nouveau tiles and ceiling lamps decorated with floral patterns that reflect early 20th-century design preferences.
Located near Yuanshan Station, the museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM with an entrance fee of NT$50 for regular visitors.
The central staircase incorporates pagoda elements, creating a fusion between Eastern and Western architectural traditions within the building structure.
