Taipei Story House

Taipei Story House is a mansion in Zhongshan District designed with Tudor architecture, featuring brick walls on the ground floor and wooden beams on upper levels, along with stained glass panels. The building blends European and Asian design elements across its multiple stories.

The building was constructed in 1913 during Japanese rule as a guest house to accommodate local officials and international visitors. It later became designated as a municipal historic site.

The interior displays Art Nouveau tiles on the fireplaces and ceiling lamps with floral motifs that reflect early 20th-century taste. These decorative details show how international design movements shaped the local urban landscape.
