Zhongshan District

Zhongshan District encompasses 13.68 square kilometers of urban landscape, containing numerous parks, government buildings, temples, and commercial establishments throughout its territory.

During the Qing Dynasty, the area comprised four villages before transforming into six districts under Japanese rule, later unified to honor Dr. Sun Yat-sen.

The National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine and Xingtian Temple draw visitors seeking to understand traditional religious practices and historical remembrance in Taiwan.
