Guohua Commercial Building is a large commercial complex in central Tainan, consisting of two connected blocks with nine floors above ground and two basement levels at the Minquan Road intersection. The structure spans a significant footprint and serves as an anchor point for retail, dining, and other business activities.

The structure replaced the Central Market in 1981 through a collaboration between Tainan City Government and Wang He Construction, reaching completion in 1983. This transformation marked a turning point in urban development when traditional marketplaces gave way to modern commercial complexes.
