Tainan City Constituency 1 is a legislative electoral district spanning eleven administrative regions including Houbi, Baihe, Beimen, Syuejia, and Yanshuei. The area covers diverse communities with both rural and urban settings across southern Taiwan.
The constituency was restructured in 2020 when Tainan increased its seats in the Legislative Yuan from five to six. This change reflected growing population and shifting political attention to the southern region.
