Cihmu Bridge

Cihmu Bridge is a modern cable-stayed structure spanning the Liwu River with a distinctive red color scheme. The bridge features marble railings and decorative lion sculptures positioned at each entrance to mark the crossing.

The original bridge was built in 1959 as a shorter structure. A comprehensive reconstruction and expansion took place in 1995, transforming it into the larger crossing seen today.

The bridge serves as a place of remembrance, with two nearby pavilions built to honor family members of national leaders. Visitors can feel a sense of reverence that comes from this personal historical connection.

The bridge is easily accessible from the nearby village and serves as a convenient walking or biking route. Approach the structure from either side, as both endpoints offer clear sightlines and natural stopping points.
