新竹縣立體育場, Multi-purpose stadium in Zhubei City, Taiwan.
Hsinchu County Stadium is a multi-purpose sports complex in Zhubei, Hsinchu County, Taiwan, made up of a large indoor arena and an outdoor field. The indoor section holds around 8,000 spectators across three levels, while the outdoor area accommodates larger crowds for open-air events.
The complex opened in 2005 and was one of the first large sports venues built in Hsinchu County. The following year it received a green building certification, reflecting design choices made from the very start of the project.
The stadium is home to local professional basketball and volleyball teams, drawing fans from across the county on match days. The crowd gathers early and the energy inside builds noticeably as game time approaches.
The complex is in Zhubei and can be reached by public transport or by car, with parking available on site. Since the indoor and outdoor sections host separate events, it helps to check in advance which part of the venue you need before arriving.
The building received its green certification just one year after opening, which was rare for a sports venue in Taiwan at the time. The recognition covered features like energy use and resource management that were built into the design from the start, not added later.
