The Bureau of Cultural Affairs of Hsinchu City Government took control of the performance center operations on July 1, 2004.
The performance center presents over 130 annual shows encompassing music performances, drama productions, traditional opera, and folklore presentations.
Visitors can reach the center by taking a short walk north from the Hsinchu Station on the Taiwan Railways network.
The Moscow City Ballet and Chicago Pops Orchestra have performed at this venue, bringing international arts to the Taiwan performing scene.
