Brianka, city in Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine
Brianka is a city in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. It consists of apartment blocks, small shops, and cafes that reflect the everyday life of its residents.
The area was first settled starting in 1696 by Zaporizhian Cossacks, and later by farmers and craftspeople from various backgrounds. From 1851 onwards, coal mining became the main force shaping the city's growth.
