Co-Cathedral of the Merciful Father, Zaporizhia, Roman Catholic cathedral in Zaporizhia, Ukraine

The Co-Cathedral of the Merciful Father in Zaporizhia is a modern Roman Catholic church with three interior naves arranged in a rectangular layout. Generous windows in the upper sections flood the worship space with daylight.

Construction began in 1999 and concluded with the consecration ceremony in 2004, incorporating a stone from Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. The completed building strengthened the Catholic presence in eastern Ukraine.

This cathedral serves as the spiritual center for the local Catholic community in a region where other Christian denominations are more common. The building reflects Roman Catholic traditions and brings together worshippers from across the city.

The building is located at Factory Street 21-A and sits in a central part of the city where it is easy to reach. Regular religious services take place here, and the space welcomes visitors during opening hours.

This building was the first shrine in the world dedicated specifically to God as the Heavenly Father. This unusual spiritual focus makes it a noteworthy place for those exploring religious architecture and devotion.
