Co-Cathedral of the Merciful Father, Zaporizhia

The Co-Cathedral features three naves within a rectangular structure, with large windows in the upper section allowing natural light to illuminate the interior space.

Construction of the cathedral began in 1999, incorporating a stone from Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, and reached completion with its consecration in August 2004.

The cathedral serves the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kharkiv-Zaporizhzhia, established by Pope John Paul II in 2002 to organize Catholic presence in eastern Ukraine.

Located at Factory Street 21-A in Zaporizhia, the cathedral maintains regular Mass schedules and provides space for community gatherings and religious education programs.

This religious building holds the distinction of being the first shrine in the world dedicated specifically to God as the Heavenly Father.
