The museum opened in July 2004 and presents artifacts spanning from the Middle Paleolithic period to the second half of the twentieth century. Its collection documents how weapon development changed across multiple millennia in different parts of the world.
The collection reflects how different societies valued and crafted their weapons, offering insight into the technical skills and materials each civilization developed. Objects from five continents show varied craftsmanship traditions and how people adapted their techniques to local resources and conflicts.
Visitors can tour the museum with guides available for groups of up to twenty people for a more detailed experience. The layout allows for comfortable walking through the exhibitions and viewing objects at your own pace.
The museum offers online 3D tours that let visitors explore objects in detail from home before or after their visit. It also hosts the Universal Shooter tournament, where participants can try traditional shooting techniques with historical weapons.
