Arcual bridge in Zaporizhzhia

The Arcual bridge is a steel arch structure spanning 320 meters across the eastern branch of the Dnieper River, connecting the western bank of Zaporizhzhia to Khortytsia Island. The roadway carries two lanes of vehicular traffic across its length.

Construction of this infrastructure project began in 1970 under Soviet administration and was completed in 1974. The completion of the structure represented an important step in connecting the city across the river.
