Кызыл-Коба

Kyzyl-Koba is an extensive cave system nestled in the Crimean Mountains, featuring interconnected passages carved through limestone rock over geological time. The cavern comprises multiple levels connected by chambers and corridors of varying widths.

The site gained protected status in 1963 following initial preservation efforts that started in 1947. This formal recognition established it as a significant monument for understanding both the geological and cultural heritage of the region.
