The Crimean Trolleybus Monument is a restored Škoda 9Tr vehicle from 1972, positioned at the highest point of the mountain pass. The vehicle remains a tangible example of the transportation equipment that once navigated this demanding mountain route.

The monument was installed in 2012 to honor a vehicle that served the route for decades during its operational life. The installation came decades after this mountain trolleybus line became established as a major transportation artery in the region.

The site is accessible year-round with parking available near the police checkpoint in the pass. Visitors should be prepared for variable mountain weather and wear appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions.

The vehicle retained its full operational capacity right up until its final installation at the monument site. This working condition was demonstrated in 2019 when it was self-driven to its new location rather than towed.
