Church of the Twelve Apostles

The Church of the Twelve Apostles is a limestone structure with a cross-dome design and a portico supported by four Doric columns at its west entrance. The building reflects neoclassical architectural principles typical of its period.

The building was constructed in the 18th century as a new place of worship on a site with older religious roots. Following damage during the Crimean War, it was repaired and consecrated in 1875.
