Lgovskoe Reservoir, reservoir in Russia
Lgovskoe Reservoir is a water storage facility located northeast of Dolinnoe village in Kirovskij District on the Crimean peninsula. It collects water from the Mokryj Indol River through a pumping station and holds approximately 2 million cubic meters of water across about 28 hectares of surface area.
Construction of the reservoir began in 1974 and was completed in 1977 to support irrigation for local agricultural fields. After decades of limited use, the pumping systems were restarted in 2017 to restore water supply to the surrounding settlements and farms.
The site is accessible from Dolinnoe village and offers simple paths along the shoreline for walking. It is best visited during seasons with adequate water levels, as the reservoir fluctuates depending on rainfall and irrigation demands.
