Carew Tower, Art Deco skyscraper in downtown Cincinnati, United States
The 175-meter Carew Tower stands with 49 floors and 14 elevators, featuring metalwork decorations and an observation deck on the top level.
Construction of the tower began in September 1929, just before the stock market crash, requiring modifications to the original plans during the Great Depression.
The building houses the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza hotel, which contains the Hall of Mirrors where Winston Churchill and Elvis Presley stayed.
Visitors can access the observation deck through elevators to the 45th floor, followed by a transfer to reach the viewing area at $6 for adults.
The tower construction set a world record in 1930, completing the entire structure between January 8th and July 7th of that year.
