The Midmer-Losh pipe organ contains 33,112 pipes organized into 449 ranks across eight chambers and weighs approximately 150 tons.

Construction of this massive instrument took place between 1929 and 1932, with many pipes manufactured directly on-site in a dedicated workshop.

Regular noon concerts and educational tours demonstrate the instrument's technical capabilities and musical range to visitors from around the world.

Guided tours of the organ chambers take place on alternate Tuesdays at 10 AM at 2301 Boardwalk, between Boardwalk and Pacific Avenue.

The Grand Ophicleide stop generates sound levels exceeding 130 decibels, making it the loudest organ stop ever created in musical instrument history.
