Marshall Point Light, Maritime lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine, US.
Marshall Point Light features a white brick tower standing 9 meters tall on a granite foundation, connected to land by a wooden walkway.
Established in 1832, the lighthouse replaced its original structure in 1857 and functioned with seven oil lamps before receiving a fifth-order Fresnel lens.
The Marshall Point Lighthouse Museum, located in the restored keeper's house, presents exhibits about maritime navigation and local lighthouse operations.
The lighthouse grounds remain accessible from sunrise to sunset, while the museum operates seasonally from mid-May through mid-October.
The lighthouse appeared in the 1994 film Forrest Gump during the cross-country running sequence, increasing its recognition among visitors.
